Soon the album will be done. My thoughts will return to video.
I’ll despair, it’s been 4 years I’ve talked about it. Hell it’s been 10 years now I’ve been making beats. But I’ll do my mix and I’ll think of video and wonder why it’s not coming. Why it’s not flowing. Well first I’m gathering resources.
Things must be plabnned and prepared.
Our idea is to keep rolling. Keep promoting the album until February and then come out with a whole new thing. and again in winter, and then another full length damager for summer next year.
Repeat, and gig and tour and video, and try to get defined by some lifestyle, or something.
I think I’m going to put more ads on this blog because I dont see how anyobne could read it seriously.
Maybe everything I go on about will haunt me, but I like to hope it will read like a voyage and in years to come I’ll link back to things I said and reflect how things changed as they inevitably will, I hope for the best.
One way or the other I’ll work it all out I’m sure. I think about business again, I wasn’t going to settle for being broke, it just wasn’t to be, i had to make arrangements.
And most of those arrangements are complete. Now I have other arrangements to make.
I must arrange for their to be a musical documentation that is thorough and a platform by which I can extend my art into online video work.
Once that musical statement has been made and I can say, well, I’ve done this, then I’m free to pursue other concepts. Maybe not the february thing but if there’s a winter release perhaps it will be just completely “alternative” drum and bass, just a whole mix exploring other vibes, minimal, experimental, lo fi, indie, electro, weirdo but essentially drum and bass tempo in the mix.
Just totally going, well, yeah, you can have our straight up and down party tape and you know how we play a party but we also do this and this and that and well y’know, it’s art.
